College is the only way if you don't come from money or have a relative that owns a business where you can get put on.
Why do you think so many people have degrees? The corporate grind is the surest and most efficient source of income for anyone who doesn't have those social/financial advantages.

Not true, unless you can get loan/investors or come from wealth. The barrier to entry will always be X + time.

If you're not willing to put money and time in you should just get the best job you can . Gotta be able to work 18hr days while profit is still months to years away.

There's a lot of things you can do but when none of them interest you, it's hard to decide. Sometimes you just do them because of what they allow you to do outside of work financially. Some you do until that idea hits you, then you pursue that.
