i want a game where lets say i'm playing it and so are 100 people on their own consoles... the main character is going into a house with 10 enemies he has to kill

the enemies should not all be chilling in the same spots in our all games.. they shouldn't have the same walking patterns.. if i kill 1 enemy and hide his body, i want the other enemies to be like "yo mike is missing" and go looking around. they should never stop looking around or being on high alert, cause why in the fukk would mike go missing

maybe 3 go check upstairs, 2 start yelling, another starts calling him, the rest go outside to check for him.. i kill the ones outside.. now the others inside decide to group together cause they see they are being hunted.. depending on which room or level of the house, they pick spots to hide in and try to see where i'm coming from.. when i show myself they try and flank me.. if they see i am too nice, some might run...................

shyt like that... but the other guys playing on their consoles have a TOTALLY other experience.. maybe they leave a body in the open, which makes the guys group up earlier or even devise a plan to catch me.. maybe they knock something over and 2 go check.. maybe this, maybe that... but it's never the same

that's the type of shyt we looking for... adaptive AI.. it literally adapts to whatever you are doing. not.... knock something over, go on alert and search for 60 seconds... go off alert and back to the same damn positions and keep walking the same circles
The Last of Us is sort of like that. Enemies do flank, they sometimes run away if they're out of bullets etc.

Most people probably never played the game on a higher difficulty but the things you mentioned do happen.

I'm looking for advancements in A.I. And animations so we stop having that obvious switch between cutscene and gameplay
I fully ununderstand what you mean, it's basically the same input I gave for the 2k series. To maintain the immersion, everything has to remain fluent. Uncharted does a decent job of this but the cut scenes are higher res than the in-game which did sound good on paper but the execution did not yield the desired results...
Going back and playing the first Halo it's amazing to me that FPS games including further games in the Halo series have yet to match or better what they did. FEAR and crysis too.
I disagree with this view on the evolution of combat evolved. Halo on Xbox plays different than halo PC because of this exact reason, better a.I. They do all the things people have mentioned.

Halo reach campaign was epic imo, do you guys play on legendary? Halo5 I felt was an evolution of halo 1 PC. And halo 5's multiplayer has all types of enemies acting and reacting exactly like what y'all talking about. From what I see, this site doesn't play halo. The few that do play only team death match. Y'all need to stop sleeping :francis:

Destructibility.

I said this in another thread before but we have these improvements in graphics but I can't blow a simple hole in the ground?:shaq2:

Meanwhile I was making whole tunneling under maps in Red Faction, on the PS2!:skip:
Xbox got you covered tho, crackdown 3 will deliver on everything you want bruh. In the meantime enjoy red faction on Xbox one via backwards compatibility :win:

yeah, a completely destructible world sounds dope but i can see a problem with that.
what if you destroy something that you need to get somewhere?
like say there is a fallen tree that you can use to cross from one area to the other but you blow it up.
now you have fukked yourself and can't go on and may never even know that the tree was there to help you.

which leads to more gaming innovation.... shyt grows/gets built back

we are in these open world games spending years and decades running around (in game)... yet nobody ages, shyt don't advance, nothing changes

how about you add in elements from damn sim city 1, where as time goes on, new cars drop, new tech drops, new guns, seasons change, the city changes etc

we got these big ass 60 gb discs worth of room and still not full utilizing them.. yes it would cost more dev money. but i'd happily pay $100 for a gta game that started in 60s LA and ended up in 2017 LA.. and if you keep playing you get to 2060 LA

going back around.. that means that tree would grow back (of course sped up on growth)

I hear what you saying and I agree, but I'm doubting if thats possible now and maybe even in the future. Hard to say we won't get there in the future, but its not possible to write completely random code so I'm not sure how devs would be able to make completely random scenarios like that.

now i can't disagree with you.. that would basically be artificial intelligence, where the computer is actually judging your moms, and compensating for it and thinking of ways to defeat your random moves

why i THINK it could be possible... chess machines and lord of the rings... chess machines that can beat grand masters and shyt, they have to prepare and think of your next 15-20 moves and calculate for what you're going to do.

and lord of the rings because in the second one, when they have that huge battle and the wizard rides in with the light staff to win... the special effects guys said they created a program for all the people on screen. all of it was computer generated. but instead of them having to program in the movements and what people were doing, they wrote a code that allowed each person to randomly do it's own thing during the battle.

now it's still far off.. and still i don't know enough about coding to know if it's possible. but i would hope we can get to a point where games calculate what you are doing, and act accordingly.. hopefully.. something like a mix of last of us and metal gear, minus the tracked out walking patterns and "oh 10 guys are dead, but lets go back to regular operations"

Nothing
Human-like artificial intelligence and realistic animations. For open world games I look forward to when the entire world reacts like it were an actual living world.

Gang violence...
better AI, rock solid framerates, and an easier development environment so we get more ambitious games from indie devs and medium sized companies

It would be dope if they brought out a more advanced level of PlayStation Home. Sony was on to something with that junt.

Even met chicks off that junt :blessed:
