it's not about buying expensive clothes. i'm not on that flashy shyt or advertising another man's name. i don't wear anything that has a label on it except for my northface and penfield jackets. nobody knows what brands i wear, and that is the way i like it. but i do buy shyt that fits perfectly, and the stuff that truly fits you is expensive.

people judge you by how you're dressed, whether you want to admit it or not. if your shyt doesn't fit and looks to be of subpar quality, you are judged poorly by your peers. i would never wear anything from target or walmart or even macy's.

it's a reflection of your character. if i see someone who dresses slovenly, i think that their thinking is slovenly, that they don't have pride, that they aren't attentive to how they present themselves to the public. again, it's not about labels or flashiness. i don't rock labels or dress in flashy clothes. my shyt is very understated. but it fits. and a quality fit goes a long way in leaving an impression on someone who you might want to forge a business/casual relationship with.

Macys has low key good fitting clothes. Hell even Walmart has basics like Hanes tees. If clothes fit well, have no labels and are clean and in good condition why does it matter where someone bought it? You can't tell where someone bought their clothes just by looking at them. I can just tell by the labels you dropped you're not that deep in the game.
