Negged

:sadcam: It felt like the Astros lost that series even though they were still up 3-2 after that :sadbron:
That's what made that shyt vicious. Astros still won the series after Oswalt closed the show in Game 6, but Lidge didn't pitch again until the World Series and Posednick took him for a walk-off :wow: Then he gave up the go-ahead run in the deciding Game 4.

Albert Pujols fukking broke that man. Lidge was like Roy Jones after the knockout, except Pujols didn't even lay a finger on him. He bounced back and got that ring with the Phillies but shyt, that dude had his whole perception of life altered.

I forgot about the bolded :to:

I didn't even watch most of Game 4 ... I went out and when I got back home, I think I had just missed Lidge giving up the go ahead run :beli:

Thumbs up for the king Felix

Two thumbs down, way down for Fernando Rodney
I wasn't claiming Rodney was a great. Again, this pretty much choked the tigers out of a world series. The COMBINATION got me THINKING about those that WERE great.

baseball fans on the coli aren't as bad as basketball fans but you're pretty annoying, very often

I hated the Cardinals because they were always in the Astros way in the late 90s (and still do to this day) ... but that outfield of Ray Lankford, Ron Gant and Brian Jordan was :ohlawd:

That Wainwright breaking ball that FROZE Beltran made me especially giddy because I was still in my "fukk Beltran" phase (like most Astros fans were) after he left the Astros following his MAGICAL 2004 postseason ... I still laugh about that pitch to this day :mjlol:
Breh that shyt made beltrans knees buckle:damn:

I was out in downtown St. Louis the night that happen everyone was going nuts:dj2:

Yall talking about the Pujols/Lidge homer made me go back and watch it. I remember watching it live and I got hyped because I was a big Pujols stan and to see some shyt like that was incredible. I can't imagine how good it would feel to shut a stadium up in less than a second. Everyone knew it was gone right when he hid it. I had never heard in awkward silence in playoff baseball game til then, and it lasted the rest of Lidges career
