What's the difference between the first song on the album and an intro?
I'd say if the 1st track has no vocals and is just a skit or something like that, then I wouldn't count it in this thread. For example, I posted Beware by Big Pun, which is actually the 2nd track on Capital Punisment, but IMO it's still the intro song, because track 1 is just this (which is still very dope)

This threads been made a 1000 times but I’ll say it again the dmx it’s dark and hell is hot intro.

there’s a couple others but this one comes to mind everytime as the first thought.

Classic as it gets. And P in your avatar made me think of this. This intro is one of my favorites because I thought it was cool how they flipped the script and opened up with something deeper and more introspective instead of just a banger.

Also obviously...

Pretty dope selections so far. Good thread.

But how the fukk was this not posted?

The way that shyt seemlessly flows into Nutmeg after the narrator says "....and, as IRONMAN!" :banderas:

Makaveli's verbal assault on Mobb Sleep, Notorious P.I.G., and several other New York rappers. JAY-Z from "Hawaiian Sophie" fame, Big Little whatever, and several other corny-sounding motherfukkers are understandably shaken up by this release

:takedat:
