Like the Crusades? I've never read a book about the Crusades, but I did watch Kingdom of Heaven today.

Check out King Leopold's Ghost. I didn't read it yet, but everyone who has says it's good.

i was interested in the medieval time period in general so it doesnt have to just cover war.
