Uhh, no it wouldn’t. You’re thinking too small

1.Drastically reduced retail staff. (and their associated insurance and benefits)
2 Drastically reduced managerial staff (and their associated insurance and benefits)
3.Drastically reduced heating/cooling/lighting/maintenance costs
4. Main thing...A service that’s actually more desirable. ( big screen TVs and shyt delivered to your house in under an hour...no one else is doing that, not even Amazon) more desirable product/service = greater sales,
5. And hell thinking bigger, they could lease a fleet of EVs/plug-in hybrids for delivery. use the wasted space on their big ass fukking roofs for solar panel charging. Government tax incentives + ability to sell back electricity into the grid = accelerated payback.

keep up, breh...
How the fukk will they drastically reduce staff if they keep the stores?

Best buy already has delivery
U sound like a fukking idiot :mjlol:

@murksiderock what restaurant chain?

I don't really want to say bro, there hasnt been a public announcement and they are doing the best with taking care of the employees affected by the pandemic. But they are a large company that is nationwide...

And I think the reason they haven't gone public is because they are doing everything to save their stores, exhausting all options. The information that 100 or so units are in trouble came in emails sent to said units, telling people to brace for the possibilities...

uhh... they will reduce staff by eliminating sales reps and managerial staff since they would not be needed in large numbers after they transition to showroom/warehouse/delivery...???

Uhh...they will reduce heating/cooling/maintenance cost after they covert most of their store to stock warehouse items instead of having it all as a big ass retail store (warehouse portion won’t need as much lighting/heat/cooling)....????

I can continue to explain but I can’t make you comprehend...???

My coworker always used to say best buy was going to go out of business. That was ten years ago, and it took a virus to make this happen. They'll be back

SO MANY PPL EXPOSED THEMSELVES
DAPPING THIS NONSENSE.

IF AMAZON, WALTMART, BASICALLY ANY LEGIT LOCAL
OR NATIONAL STORE HAS A LOWER PRICE
THAN BEST BUY...

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW THEM THE AD
OR WEBSITE AND THEY WILL MATCH THE PRICE.

IVE DONE IT PLENTY OF TIMES.

One time last year I was far from home with only 5% battery life on my phone and no idea how to get back. I didn't have a charging cable with me so I looked up the closest bestbuy which was 5 mins away since this was an area where there weren't any dollar stores and shyt like that just big businesses. When i asked for a usb cable , they had their own branded usb cable that was cheaper than all the other usb cable offerings.. I paid $12 for one fukking usb cable and when i got home i spent $10 on a pack of 5 usb cables that were of really good quality from amazon. Theres no price matching on in-house brands since it's only sold in bestbuy.

It's a big box retailer thats been closing stores for the last 5 years.

Hell we've had best buy mobile that just sells phones and tablets and you can schedule geek squad to come to your house. It's basically a mall kiosk.

Don't be surprised when Macys is next, they've been on the chopping block for years too.

They survived the Recession, they will survived this. If anything, this is all a test to show folks the value of a brick and mortar.

Don’t order anything online!

I ordered a Ring doorbell, and a new lens for my camera this morning. The order went through, and I get a call from some Best Buy in VA that got the order, and they said they don’t have the products, but they can’t cancel it. So I try I cancel online, and it says I can’t, because they already started the order. The virtual chat is unavailable, there is no option to email them, and the wait time to call customer service is one hour.

fukk!!!!!!!!!

:damn:

:demonic:
