I been using the cheap, rechargeable Wahl but I feel like it doesn't cut as evenly and I end up spending 45 minutes making sure it's even all around. Need to invest in something more reliable that I can use to get the baldie weekly.

This is what I use now:

I'm thinking this:

Above the fray.
:ehh: how close of a shave do you get with this? would it be better than buying just the clippers above?
The answer to your question....and to all clipper questions
is the Andis Master clipper....

pretty expensive, but an excellent value for your money. more powerful and durable than your current set.

the last suggestion is pretty good too, but he's suggestion you buy two sets of trimmers...the andis t outliner and the shaver/shaper

can i ask why you use or prefer cordless?

cordless has the benefit of convenience and not getting tangled... but my priority is just a strong motor on the blade to cut low and evenly without me having to go back multiple times like my current wahl

i want to avoid using a razor blade and instead use clippers every 4 - 5 days to maintain the look.

ok.....do a search for baldies and clippers in the search box, cause this has been discussed before and brothers who shave their hair like that must have weighed in.
hopefully there's info about cordless clippers in one of those threads, good luck

I like the Andis T Outliner with the Wahl shaver posted above. The cord on my old Andis cord broke the other day and the new one I just bought doesn't cut as close, so I'm bringing it to the local clipper shop next week to get sharpened. The Wahl shaver will get you really close and smooth but I bump up pretty easy, so I try not to use those very regularly.

I'm gonna look these up..good looking out.

Definitely check them out. They don't get very good reviews when people try to use it as a clipper. Even though it comes with attachments, it would only be a step above using T liners with clipper guards. However, for bald heads, these things are magic. I've had one for the last seven years.

get the cord replaced on the old one while you're there

I've been using outliners /t outliners for years...when they switched over to the long maroon knob....the quality has been very shytty....
