Tired of techno bs... Where can I get to an nice joint that plays hip hop? In manhattan and maybe Brooklyn?

Sutra if your looking for some classic hip hop. W.I.P or GreenHouse for more upscale but certain nights is more caced out than others. The City Of God partys by Dice the god if your into the whole youth culture (asap,action bronson, hip hop hipster) movement.

Not the best but its some show out type sh*t..

At the Hudson Hotel, if u rent a room u can drink at the bar, listen to Hip Hop music...walk a few feet and sit in the outside lounge......walk a few more feet and play pool....Walk a few more feet and eat a resturant meal....hit the elevator and lounge on the roof.....and if u find someone u wanna go home with you can rent a room right there and go upstairs. You gonna have to spend bread tho cuz its some Manhattan "lets get as much as we can from the tourists" type sh*t. If you rent a room u can get access to the other areas for free....If u just go there to hit up the bar you gonna have to buy an overpriced bottle of ALCOHOL and will only be allowed in the bar, pool room. and outside lounge area..U cant go to the roof.

Sutra is OK but gets crowded fast. Greenhouse and WIP are too hot. This kid from my hood got mucked over out by Greenhouse like last year.

in BK, you can go to Franklin Park over by Eastern Parkway if you want reggae.
