SNES plain and simple. NES is a close second, but it had too many cartridge issues.

Remmy, you have to blew your cartridge to get that work or put two cartridges into that console together so you want your bottom cartidge to get that work so you can play.

So much frustration with the NES. Gently or firmly banging the side of the console. Man sometimes we would put a thin layer of lotion on the edge of the cartridge. The SNES on the other hand had to be the most durable and stable console of all time. No matter how much dust on it or how many times it got banged around or dropped, that shyt will still load up to perfection to this very day.:blessed: Console was unstoppable, they don't make em like that anymore:mjcry:

Dreamcast.

The first game I got was Soul Calibur and given that I was a Soul Edge stan, it had me like :krs:

Then on came Sonic Adventures, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio & Power Stone. Those games alone had me...then older cousins put me onto Shenmue and from then onward, Dreamcast's GOAT status was solidified in my head.

Back then, they didn't even load that we have to wait for until loading complete to start the game.

Tough choice between PS2 and 360 but gotta go with 360 off the strength and quality of Xbox Live as a service and the thousands of hours of multiplayer fun.

Prime years of Halo, Gears and CoD multiplayer is :wow::blessed:

I couldn't pick a top 5... all of the systems had something to love and hate about them. The OG NES is my #1, but after that, I can't decide.
