that Ray Allen's 3 was just as devastating as the red wedding or Chalky's daughter catching that bullet
that Ray Allen's 3 was just as devastating as the red wedding or Chalky's daughter catching that bullet
that shyt was heartbreakingya nikkas is bugging saying the only time rains of castemere was dope was how it ended, that entire episode was piff start to finish
- Daario, Jorah and Grey Worm Infiltrating Yunkai and going in on all the slave soldiers before opening the main gate for the rest of daenarys army. That entire battle sequence was dope
- Queenscrown. Bran helping out jon by warging into Summer when the wildlings were getting ready to kill him, Jon killing Orell, Orell Warging into the eagle before death and attacking Jon. Bran wargin into HODOR, conforming he can get his charles xavier on
-Then the entire Wedding front to back, people also forget about arya coming so close to reuniting with her family only for the chance to be taken away from herthat shyt was heartbreaking
its all opinions, but rains of castemere was dope front to back

I didn't say it wasn't dope. I said it wasn't a stand-out episode of "GoT" aside from the ending. And it wasn't.
Let's put it like this. Let's say the episode ended with Daenerys taking Yunkai. Would we still be talking about that episode as a best of 2013 contender? No. Let's be real here. That don't mean it's a wack episode....but we ain't talking about "dope" episodes....we're talking about the best.
Fred.

I'm sure I could cut 8 minutes out of Ozy too and make the same statement
at people getting offended at what I said. It's a great episode elevated by it's ending. People are acting like I said it's a wack episode aside from the last 8 minutes.Dexter? You have got to be fukking kidding me? One of the worst episodes of the year. Dex a damn lumber jack was an insult to the series and that Miami metro in 8 seasons never solved a damn case.Mad Men had an amazing run at the top of the year. The greatest respect you can pay to that show is that there is almost not a standout episode because theyre all so fukking good.
Really and truly though, that Dexter finaleAmazing

until the nazis showed up

I read the threads. Groupthink was already in full effect because critics were saying was the best before it aired. Furthermore, the biggest moment occurred at the beginning so of course people were hyped from the jump. A moment people waited a full week for resolution.Nah you really couldn't. Don't believe me? Go re-read the "GoT" thread the day "Castamere" aired, then go re-read the "BB" thread the day "Ozymandias" aired. It's like night and day. Nobody was losing their mind until the wedding scene started. People lost their mind from the scene after the first commercial break, to the end of the episode for "Ozymandias".
The fact that the episode is referred to as "The Red Wedding" should be a big ass clue what the focus of it was. Nobody calls it "Warging Into Hodor".
And for the recordat people getting offended at what I said. It's a great episode elevated by it's ending. People are acting like I said it's a wack episode aside from the last 8 minutes.

I mean, we are splitting hairs here but you are blatantly framing your reasoning in a bias way

at "critics were saying it was the best before it aired"....no they weren't because the ep didn't even go out to critics until the night it aired. So the reviews were after it aired. The only person that said it was the best was Vince Gilligan, which only heightened expectations.
