I had "The Twinz" album too. When I use to ride people would ask me what I was listening too. There wasn't too many people bumping the G-Funk stuff outside of Warren G in the south. It was either No Limit or Cash Money. It just had this sound that man, on a nice summer day you can just ride all day on it.My nicca.
Came in to mention This Is The Shack. Not saying it's the best, but imo it is the most indicative of the early-mid 90's west coast rap culture.
Anyone else feel weird about bay music being posted in here? Outside of Black Market Records, I don't feel like Northern Cali music should really be considered G-Funk.
Ehh to a point. There was some G-Funk music out of the Bay not heavy but it had a different vibe than the usual suspects.
