Depends if you're looking for something portable.

I have a bottlehead crack amp (not portable) and I love it. I like tube amps and you can find some good ones on massdrop or the head fi classifieds page.

If you want something portable the fiio amps are highly regarded but I've never heard one. Check for the fiio e17

These are pretty much useless if you don't have the right headphones though

yeah, beats suck for sure. Personally the beyerdynamic 770s and 880s are >>>> than m50s . The HD280s are alrght too but harsh an lack a stereo field. The HD 600s/650s are the wave tho/

I don't mess with headphone amps cause my ATH M50 does the job without all that. The only thing about the M50 is you need the right files to listen to them cause they will not lie to you. If you listen to them with low bit quality music files you will definitely know and tell. But if you listen to them with untampered Wav or Flac files...it's just pure beauty.
