What's wrong with Golden Crust? I buy their frozen patties at Harris Teeter
Golden Crust is a chain , I have yet to taste good food there
Goldenkrust....:troll:

No but seriously they have some good ass soft beef patties if you need a quick snack to chew on which is cool. I like the soft crust they be using plus it's kinda sweet not like the Jamaica beef patties that come from the supermarket.
Golden Crust is trash. Patties be mostly crust and hardly any meat. I wouldnt buy anything except hard dough bread or a bun out of there

Peppas is good, as well as the door. Errols is pretty good too and there is this hole in the wall spot on cburch ave near kings highway that's is one of the best.

Best Jamaican I’ve ever had was All island cafe in Stone Mountain

There’s some spots in Smyrna that are good

:feedme: I'm gon be out there next week for 4 days. We got some serviceable Jamaican spots out here in the Bay (namely Back-A-Yard and Flavas Grill) and Inglewood got some decent ones but I'm looking for some life changing shyt.

Put me on some places that got good sorrel, beef/chicken patties, ackee & saltfish, oxtails, jerk, etc :takedat: idgaf where it is in New York, I'll pull up wherever if its good enough
just had back a yard on saturday :ohlawd:

but growing up with a jamaican best friend, i got spoiled. i really wish we had a bigger JA community out here...or just some better spots. i also gotta shout out the pork pit in mo bay, that was some fukking life changing jerk chicken :wow:

My bad he did say Jamaican food. I disagree about Footprints, it's good food. Overpriced but good. Fisherman's Cove on Rockaway is great too.
Footprints is overpriced. and I dont think is tasty Jamaican food. Rasta pasta is a gimmick . My tastebuds have been honed to cooking from Jamaica. My old time granny, my aunts, even my uncles who taught me how to cook humming bird lol.... growing up in country where from the age of 5yrs old I was cutting the throats of goats and chickens and watching the miracle happen in the kitchen. Its hard fetched to find that level of cooking outside of JA but every now and then I do come across some gems. Most places are b*stardized and watered down

My girl who is jamaican says the same thing and it's true esp after eating her families cooking.

And yes footprints is extremely trash especially for that price.

Lots of great places for Yardie food in Bk

Especially around the Church Ave area

But by all means avoid the Golden Crust Jamaican spot in Bed Stuy :whoa:
There are literally two way better spots 2 blocks up Nostrand.

The Door is GOAT. :wow:

Check out Dougie's too.
The Door is really good, but it's so far out of the way.

It's a joke bruh...:heh: the patties ain't THAT bad...:beli:

It's like a mixture of cake bread and Patty meat. I usually get the tower isles ones out the supermarket but I mean if you got time to burn it isn't that bad....:ehh:
