Something cheap if you're playing regularly. Hit up a Nike outlet.

Once you lose grip, the bottoms turn into bowling shoes. Which will happen quick if you're playing outside regularly. No point in paying anything more than 60 bucks for shoes that'll be trash in a few months.
This is the right answer. I won't go over 40 for outdoor basketball shoes.

If you end up hooping outside, I'd suggest the Curry 2(mid). You can find them online for around $80. The rubber traction is hard, so it should last as well as anything can outdoors.

If you need something with extra cushioning, the D Rose 6 is good. The Rose 7 works too, but the traction won't last as long. Just go down half a size on the 6.

Like I said, really good performing shoes for a decent price, just make sure to get one with a solid color outsole, not the translucent ones.

A 5'10" chucker breh; my court vision is actually great and I played point in high school, but as I've grown older I've become much more selfish in all of my life's endeavors.. I play too hard I think though, to be playing on concrete; the competitive juices get to flowing but I can already feel the body breaking down. I'm gonna stop playing defense now though.

After running through this thread I'm probably just going to stick with the indoor hoops. There's a good group of guys I play with on the weekend though, and even just for the social aspect I'll probably keep playing there, just not go as hard.

Lmao, as long as your playing on that tennis court type of flooring you should be ok. Avoid asphalt or concrete in possible. Also, wether your a brand whore or not , adidas is killing the game when it comes to cushion. I would use their boost cushioning just to lessen the impact of outdoor hooping . Nike is on some bullshyt with their zoom (or lack of) cushioning in their budget models... the d lillard line is the best bang for your buck (cus who trying to pay $150+ on outdoor shoes)
