Best Laptop for making beats

Looking into getting a laptop that will be strictly for beatmaking purposes. Does anyone make beats just on thier laptops? If so, which one is the best one to get?

Really the software is more important

You're just gonna wanna make sure whatever you get has a quad core processor and at least 8GB of RAM. 16GB and a solid state drive is preferable.

i make all my beats on my asus laptop which i copped in december, shyt has been great so far. i7 processor and 8 gb ram for around 800 bucks. i think lenovo also makes cheap laptops with good specs, dunno bout reliability tho. before i had a toshiba laptop which was just performance-wise, ableton lagged like hell when i had more than 10 or so tracks. but yea if u concerned bout budget i'd recommend the asus/lenovo models, if u got cash (unlike me ) then im sure there are better models.

macbook pro's are really good if you plan on doing dj'ing later because its way more stable when it comes to things like that but with that being said there are way more vst's and programs for windows and now days and you'll get alot more bang for your buck. You can get a top of the line thinkpad or some type of ultrabook for relatively cheap. I got a macbook only because i do live gigs as well

i can go up to about 1000-1200 on the laptop. I dunno if i can get the mac cause all the plugins I got already i got em PC configured

I got a lenovo for like 450 and the shyt was a biggggggggggggg step up from my toshiba
