I just don't get how all these "critics" are downing Jay for making Hip Hop music but giving Kanye critical acclaim for making electronic tribal music. Who are these white people to tell US what Hip Hop is?!? They are the reason Hip Hop is dead as it is.

I havent read his other reviews but I don't get that seniment from this argument. More or less, he's referring to Kanye's past of being open and honest about himself in his music.
Personally, I think Jay went into the studio to make songs and keep whatever he had, regardless of whether it was good or not. #nothrowaways
