When'd you start watching basketball, kid?

He led the Jazz to the Western Conference Finals in 2006-2007 (when he was frequently being compared to CP3) against the Spurs.
It slipped my mind, didn't fact check.

Chris Paul has played better than Deron did in that playoff run nearly his whole career. Too bad CP3 couldn't run into the 42 win Warriors.

Rondo is not better than Wall. That's facts.

I don't know if you're saying this because you're a homer or you're 20 years old or both, but Wall CANNOT hold a candle to Rondo. He's nice and I like watching him play but Rondo >Wall ALL DAY.

The Rondo disrespect is disgusting.

Griffin didn't show up in the elimination game. Their defense blows, that isn't CP3's fault.

It becomes his fault when he's praised and regarded by many as one of the best defensive PGs in the game. How many All-Defensive Teams has he made?

It looks to me that no matter the scenario, CP3 is the one who doesn't show up in elimination games. Why does CP3 ALWAYS fade to black in tough moments in elimination games? He goes missing because he's more concerned about individual stats than winning. But somehow he's absolved of all blame.

David West, Peja, and Chandler is not enough to overcome the Championship Lakers and Spurs, you know that. Yet you cape for Rose beating horrible teams, and Rondo playing behind 3 HOFs.

Those guys (all all-stars) + CP3 ("ZOMG the best point gawd EVAHHHHHHH") should have been enough to make it to the Western Conference Finals at least once. The way everybody hyped up CP3, you'd think he's superman. But he consistently fails to have THAT playoffs series where everybody takes notice and finally understands why he's universally hailed as No. 1. Other PGs have made it to Conference Finals with less talent (i.e. Deron).

Rose did what he had to do with his team to get as far as he could, Conference notwithstanding. He made it to the ECF, where they lost to the Heat.

From '10-'12, Rondo was the one carrying the 3 HOFers. Don't get it twisted. You take Rondo off those Cs teams, they wouldn't have made it to the ECF and NBA Finals. Plus, Rondo goes ABSOLUTELY HAM in the playoffs. How many career playoff triple doubles does he have? And CP3 has how many?

Don't be mad because some PGs are in the East. Don't hate the players, hate the game.

Face it, CP3 is a perennial choke artist. He has NO EXCUSE as to why he can't make it out of the 2nd round of the playoffs as their best player. He's not the best.

The Rondo disrespect is disgusting.

Wall does everything just as good as Rondo

Wall is also a better outside shooter

Rondo gets him on the boards

FALSE.

Rondo plays better man-on-man and help defense.

Rondo is a MUCH BETTER playmaker.

Rondo gets more assists per game than Wall.

Rondo plays MUCH BETTER in the playoffs than Wall; how many career playoff triple doubles does Wall have?

Some of y'all are dating yourselves with your PG choices.

Wall plays just as good man and help defense breh, Wall's consistency is the issue.

Wall is just as good a play maker and Wall has gotten like 4 or 5 double doubles already

Wall has been to the postseason once, the sample is small. Rondo wasn't that great in the 2008 playoffs despite winning the 'chip. So we shall see. Rondo is supposed to be the better playoff performer, he's played in many more games there so far.

And you also have to admit Wall is a better shooter.

Exactly. So he's not as good as Rondo, who's ALWAYS a great defender.

Wall is just as good a play maker and Wall has gotten like 4 or 5 double doubles already

Let me repeat the question: how many career PLAYOFF TRIPLE DOUBLES does Wall have?

Wall has been to the postseason once, the sample is small. Rondo wasn't that great in the 2008 playoffs despite winning the 'chip. So we shall see. Rondo is supposed to be the better playoff performer, he's played in many more games there so far.

1. All of this talk about Rondo riding the coat-tails of the Big 3 is absurd and intellectually dishonest. Rondo was an excellent perimeter defender during the 2008 run and was also the team's playmaker (setting up the Big 3 to score). He averaged 10/7/4/2 as the starting PG in those playoffs. You can't deny that he Rondo did what he had to do on that team. He played a big role on that team. Give the man his props.

2. You just admitted that Rondo's a better playoff performer than Wall. So how is Wall better than Rondo?

And you also have to admit Wall is a better shooter.

Nobody ever denied this. Moot point and irrelevant.

Rondo > Wall.

That is debatable....he is shooting the 3 way worse than Rondo so far. Maybe you meant FTs. I'll give you that.

Rondo was 4-7 the other night

If Wall shoots something like that one game, his percentage will jump too

Still early in the season

OK, now you're being obtuse. Agree to disagree.

P.S. I like the Wizards and I like John Wall. But it's disrespectful and short-sighted fans like you that make it easy to diss your team, especially when they fall short in the playoffs again.
