I been messin' with alibaba, looking for a good item to begin reselling on Amazon. It's a really good resource. I assume someone's told you this by now but I want to bookmark this thread so I can find more places to check out myself.

Also, if anyone has suggestions or tips for selecting a good item to resell (I'm thinking fitness gear) and getting started would be appreciated.

You can buy Groupon customer returns from Genco. Most everything I got from there was in one piece. It also came in the box Groupon provided to the customer for return, so you don't have to find boxes for the items, which is surprisingly costly and irritating to do because you need to find proper box sizes for your items. The items were mostly small too, so shipping costs were insignificant. We got a 1 carat diamond rings in our lots. Ate off that.



Each load probably cost around 3 to 4k with shipping and probably made 2 to 3k off each load.

We also use to get a lot of sex toys and lube in there.

I'd also advise using Amazon fulfillment.

We'd get items delivered to us... slap a label on them... and ship them right back to Amazon. Customer orders and Amazon ships for you.

Customers get satisfaction of using Amazon Prime. If an item is damaged during shipment and the customer leaves you negative feedback, Amazon removes that feedback and resolves the problem.

You really don't do shyt. Can't beat the trust Amazon has.

ive brought stuff from http://evertek.com, mostly for personal use, supposedly they are a wholesaler but their stuff isnt really that cheap imo, at least cheap enough to make profit on ebay, but if you are selling retail it may work

also they hooked up with this new company called http://behalf.com that does quicky business loans, the cool thing is behalf works with a bunch of other suppliers, so its def something people should check out
