A rep to @I.AM.PIFF (or whoever made it) if he posts in here for using his dahell cover. From the albums I've heard, im stuck between Soul Survivor and the Blackstar album.

Soul Survivor has some amazing production, but i'd say that this is the first Pete Rock album that has a lot of weird samples that you'll either like or you wont. Still decent though. And Hi-Tek especially, went in on the Blackstar album, but im not really into much of the production on the rest of the album. However, both still keep a consistent tone imo.

Aquemini i need to listen to cos ive heard a few tracks before and they sounded amazing.

With that said, :merchant: :whoo: at No Limit in 1998. I counted about 19 No Limit albums while making this thread, with the 'Beats by the Pound' group producing the bulk of most, or if not, all of them. I'd be surprised if they were even allowed to go outside that year.

Impossible to choose a single one

Aquemini, Capital Punishment, Charge It 2 Da Game, Life Or Death, It's Dark & Hell Is Hot, 400 Degreez, Body Parts, My Balls & My Word, Rhythm-al-ism...all of em flawless pretty much, quality production from top to bottom

If I see ONE vote for Hard Knock Life or Tical 2000, I'ma call them knuckleheads out. Them shyts don't belong on this poll! FOH with that

Anyway, I'ma go with 400 Degreez
