Dope thread idea but you’ve got to clarify criteria and also rules on release dates - so anything released from October of the year is included in the following year? :mindblown:

My memory fukked up as it is without all this extra confusion

yall know dam well that O.C. & common have no business being on here over bone thugs and real Compton city gs.

so we gonna act like O.C. "times up" was more culturally popular & impactful than bone thugs?
drop "thuggish ruggish bone" AND "foe tha luv of $" only to get snubbed in favor of O.C. brehs.

"real Compton city gs" got snubbed as well. drag common sense to the sewer.

the '95 list is good money tho.

yea. we gave @FreshAIG hell for putting "the choice is yours" in the '91 thread.

props to him for cleaning that up in the latter polls.

big releases that drop towards the end of the year, tend to have legs and be more synonymous with the following year. there were a good grip of those in the year 2000 - jarule, outkast, Eminem.

8 songs per year is clearly not enough. Make it 20 songs or make it 8 albums a year. Just a lil advice

yea. at least 16.

this is all I was basically saying before I got matryed in that other thread.

too many good ole' boy network picks.

I Used to Love H.E.R. is my favourite song on the list. Maybe didn't have the success of other singles but it's the best song.
