LOL.

that's even worst

thanks for fueling my point.

nobody dissed because nobody really gave a f*ck about outkast like that.

as opposed to hammer, who was a polarizing figure and caused a lot of jealousy.

also, ice cube claimed he wasn't dissin, when hammer ran up on em.

EDIT: I just realized I was talking too you. should've known by the sneak-posting without the tag. PLEASE GO AWAY BUDDY.

MC Hammer was not polarizing. Dude was nearly universally loved and at his height only like Michael Jackson was bigger.

Nobody dissed Kast because nobody saw what they were doing as destructive. Hammer was looked at in the same light as people view Puff at his shiny suit peak: uber popular, but his popularity was detrimental to the section of Hip Hop that views music that is too danceable or happy sounding as something that is not Hip Hop.

You ain't have to reply to the post. If anyone should go away it should be you because you clearly have no understanding of what you're talking about and are speaking from a place of bias as usual.

LOL.

you obviously don't know what polarizing means.

if you did, you wouldn't have contradicted yourself with that 2nd sentence.

theres no come-up. nothing to gain by dissin outkast.

a local group like ghetto mafia threw shots because there was a lil something to gain on the local tip. that's about it.

Get At Me Dog with Hard Knock Life being a close second. Get At Me Dog ushered in a serious cultural shift and X changed the game overnight. Then you get into the video, shot at the tunnel in its heyday, Flex and the Lox making cameos, and just showing this is what New York hip hop is and what it should be. Hard Knock Life was big for Jay but Get At Me Dog was big for the game. That's a void that's still there today and if X was sober, he could still fill it.

It is clear you have no idea what you are talking about. Polarizing figures are not nearly universally as loved as MC Hammer was at his height.

Dissing someone isn't about a come up as much as it someone calling out another for things they take issue with.

Ghetto Mafia wasn't even talking about OutKast with the line "we stole big boy truck", they've maintained as much. A lot of artists have gone their whole careers without ever being dissed.

lol. why don't you just google the term instead of embarrassing yourself?

@ the bolded. those are the 2 main reasons why people get dissed actually.
any artist that never got dissed, prolly has nothing to offer.

I'm not talking about a song. all i know is they threw a shot in an interview. and I really don't care about that chit to be going back-n-forth on it.

MC Hammer was not polarizing
:dwillhuh:
Of course he was. Matter of fact, I’ll quote a reputable source to explain how he’s polarizing.
Comparing the song to MC Hammer and them is ludicrous because you didn't have artists like Ice Cube dissing at an attempt to alienate them from Hip Hop.

MC Hammer had a handful of artists going at him. That's hardly polarizing. Polarizing is when an artist has just as many people against them as they do for them to where you have an argument from both sides.

Why don't you google the term since you introduced it? After googling it, post it and explain how MC Hammer fits the definition.

An artist that never got dissed had nothing to do with what they had to offer. Many artists in Hip Hop got dissed over females. That's hardly a come-up or because the artist had something to offer.

Again, you know nothing about what you're talking about. The whole story about Ghetto Mafia dissing Outkast had to do with the line from the song "In Decatur" not some shots they allegedly threw in an interview. Either way, Ghetto Mafia dismissed ever dissing Kast.

Many hip hop heads didn’t like Hammer in real time Breh. He is pretty much the definition of a polarizing figure.

Here’s the definition Breh.
to divide into sharply opposing factions, political groups, etc.

Given the definition, how exactly was he polarizing? What divisions or what in Hip Hop did he divide? Drake is polarizing because within Hip Hop, people are divided on what he should be classified as.

He wasn’t real hip hop.
Hip hop had artistic integrity back then
