I'm a Nate stan but I never heard his Wild Gremlinz album. What did you think of that one if you heard it?

For All Seasons is a goat album for me so I was expecting a classic so I thought
It was decent. Few good tracks but not what it should have been. Production ruined the album, Pain Killer was better. Just saw on datpiff he's gota mixtape coming out next week. Pretty pumped about that

I think Ima go with Crooked I

Talent wise Crooked I is one of the best Mcs to ever rap. But material wise he's one of the worst. He doesn't have 1 single classic song in his entire discography and he's been rapping for 20 years. It's not that his material is even wack it's just so completely forgettable.

Who y'all think

Boom boom clap?

New West anthem?

5his is how we do this?

That's on everything

Classic solos

No he isn't. If he had an ounce of talent, he would have made one great song in 20 years.

Y'all get fooled thinking these lyrical miracles have an ounce of talent. They don't.

Actually they do. It takes talent to have rapping ability. It's a different talent to make dope music. Both are talents just different kinds. That's stupid to say rapping words together well isn't a talent. Don't be ridiculous.

Lol that's my shyt though. And the joint he had with Daz and I think Kokane, I can't remember. He had some fly shyt but like 5-10 okay to good songs in a 20 year career is sad as fukk

Pocket full of money?

So damn hood?

DJS and MCs?

Dream Big w Akon?

All these are crook singles off the head. I'm sure I'm missing many.

I agree with OP. ... crook is a beast but he can't make an album for shyt, and that's coming from a fan.

He'll murder a feature and them 52 hip hop weekleys were THE shyt, but he does struggle to even put together consistent dope songs.

Jada disog is probably the most dissapointing all things considered, but crook has a worse disog.

Method man always comes up in these kind of thread but doesn't belong in them, his first 2 albums kill that suggestion.

1) Eminem...He is Top 1 Rapper...But I only like maybe 2 songs...And I don't recall the last time I listened to them...

2) Jay Z...Top 2 Rapper...His best songs are his singles...He has a few dope non-singles 'Dope man' and 'Dynasty Intro' but the singles are his stand out songs on any album...Weak discography for his level of success...

3) Nas...After a few songs in "I am..." this dude hasn't really done anything I have been interested in...

4) Jada Kiss...Every song sounds like one long rap...You can cut and paste random bars from random Kiss songs, and they will still go together....Plus what has he really done? Nothing....

Canibus has MORE albums than Kiss, and Canibus was BANNED from hip hop...Kiss has NO excuse...

5) Lil Wayne...The only song I like is "Sky is the Limit" Dope song...That's it...

6) Kanye West...The only song I like is "Can't tell me nothing"...I don't mind Kanye...He just doesn't interest me...I am indifferent to his work....

"King" or "Urban Legend", take your pick.

Trap Muzik is his only classic imo. Just great start to finish.

Post a Crooked I song that demonstrates his enormous talents.

AGAIN, writing ability and song writing ability are DIFFERENT talents but they are both talents. You're using a straw man argument because his song making ability isn't even what we are debating. We agree on that, look at my OP. We're not debating if he makes good music, so posting a song is pointless to the argument. We're strictly arguing your statement that rapping ability isn't a talent, which is an absurd claim. It's not the same talent as writing songs but it is a talent
