how bout Reggie?? lol
Yea I didn't even include that one myself and I own ithow bout Reggie?? lol
I think Muddy Waters is when he really started to come into his own. Whut was just a good hardcore album but it was also at the end of that early 90s era. Your right about how grimey Dare is. Everything about it from the cover to the beats to his hair.I think I'm one of 5 people who liked Reggie, I thought it was Redman on his grown man ish.
That being said its a tough call the 1st 3 albums are all classics for different reason.
I'm going to say Muddy Waters because it literally combines the best qualities of both albums and then flips in a way that is accessible without being alienating.
But yea, Dare iz a Darkside is one of the toughest grimiest albums of all time and it really captures the essence of Newark in that time period.
All three albums get regular spins on my Zune though.
Dude was so consistent. From 92-98 you knew every other fall he was gonna drop some heat. Who else was dropping albums with 20 tracks on them with hardly any filler?man i used to play Reds discography on a loopone of my favorite rappers ever
as far as the question goes, i voted Muddy Waters
Redman said he was on crazy heavy drugs during the entire Dare Iz period. He said he barely remembers anything from then because he was so high off drugs all the timeI think Muddy Waters is when he really started to come into his own. Whut was just a good hardcore album but it was also at the end of that early 90s era. Your right about how grimey Dare is. Everything about it from the cover to the beats to his hair.
