Dare holds a special place in heart, i loved the album but my crew didn't, and i was caping hard for it

of course when he dropped muddy, they were back on his dikk

I was like that with the MC Eiht album Death Threatz. NO ONE in my crew liked it but I loved it, played it to death.

I've been listening to Docs Da Name more over the years. Maybe cuz I played the previous 3 much more in the 90s/00s.

Red was my favorite MC when he was dropping these albums. This has always been the order I prefer them. After Muddy Waters, it was whatever, lol. But DIAD is peak Redman, to me.

Dare Iz A Darkside followed by Muddy Waters. Like others have said, Muddy is the "safe" album, but on Dare...you can see mentally he was in a different place. Sometimes I wish he would have revisited that darker feel on everything that followed, but based on what he has said about it I dont blame him for not wanting to revisit it.
