Best Song on "The Documentary" - ???

I was working out to this album yesterday.

Higher
Start From Scratch
Like Father Like Son
The Documentary

This album came together like a perfect storm:
Leftover (!!) dre beats
Artist sitting on aftermath for 4 years perfecting his craft,
50 having a few tracks ready to go with no album coming out,
G-unit popularity wave at the time.
Top top beats from like 6 or so top caliber producers

Album is gym music for sure.

Is this the second best aftermath album (2001 obv.)? I always loved the first two eminem albums and grodt but this album is just fire.

I'm sure most of these dre beats would have been from detox had it came out in 2003 like it was supposed to lol.

ONLY thing that ruins the album is that line in dreams about chronic 2001 coming out in 2001.

Makes you wonder what the fukk were the doing when i he said, c'mon man no one caught that in the studio when recording the verse? Or mastering? Or previewing the album?

i think the majority of the dre productions on the doc were made for detox but were then used for this project...

eminem in 2004 " dont worry about that detox album we gon make dre do it.."

dre was workin on detox around when this dropped... as well as the massacre and encore and bust rhymes the big bang... these 4 albums got all the DETOX BEATS... they all dropped in 2004-05

imo the doc IS DETOX...this is like the chronic part 3.... new wc rapper debut album laced with dre beats.. sold 5mili
