I have a little 2.5 in Gerber folding knife. Really don’t need a big ass Rambo knife.
Plus I’m not carrying anything illegal.
Some of these knife laws are more extreme than gun laws.
Reason i carry a gun instead of knife. Our knife laws are vague af. i have no idea if i will get arrested or not for having one, or what kind is safe to carry.

Are these for self defense or like camping?
I recently got interested in knives when I traveled to a country with a high number of stabbing attacks, might be looking to get one
Both. The thread is about survival knives but you know threads tend to get hijacked around here. I always though about that too(traveling w a blade), but I dont know about going through TSA with one. Hell Id be paranoid packing it in my checked luggage these days. In my mind I just said Id spend about $25 on one when I got there and leave it in that country.

My edc is a Gerber. Sharp af. I bought it because I wanted it as my cheapo. But as I used it more as edc and doing random shyt with it I was for real like :ohhh:, that's my knife right there.

I have a fixed 5.25. I don't know what brand it is. I use it for skinning.

I have a few knives. I had a white friend in middle school and he put me on, you know how white boys be with knives and I don't mean Swiss Army, my dad/grampa gave this to me. He wasn't one of those goth or anime "I like knives and swords" cats either. But he had a shyt ton of knives. Hooked me up.
