Best way of dealin wit that certain type of VERY sarcastic/ironic/pain-in-the-azz type of colleague?

did that today, and said co-worker responded by getting pissed
but yeah, ignoring them might be better, I just had to call her on her B.S.

I did the same shyt... She got slick infront of our boss and I had to get at her. She got mad defensive, came in yo my office started crying. She tried some ol shaming tactics, told me im sensitive and she "thought I was a stronger than that"

I hit her with the , crushed her argument and she started to raise her voice.

Told her to be professional and maybe we should talk about this when she calms down.

She got up and left in a fit.

I worked with one chick and I would make comments from time to time and it just bounced off her it was like she lived in her own world that I could not phase. I've worked with a lot of "interesting" people over the years. Not "interesting" in the sense that they're insightful, captivating individuals, but rather that they don't even remotely resemble NORMAL...straight up oddball, socially awkward.... thirsty muffukas(Sadly the IT field is rife full of these types). Throughout my work career , I can probably pinpoint 2 or 3 people who fall into the "WTF how did you get here" category, but the one that takes the fukking cake is this one geezer @ the office who just loves to pop into my space and talk about meaningless shyt.

I never repeat myself when I know I'm audible enough to be heard. Only when they make it a point to be real snide, usually it's a woman with a stanky attitude, I RAISE my voice just a bit with some authority and low-key bark what I just said. This usually catches the person off gaurd and gets them disheveled.
