I cant deal with this foreman grill drying my shyt out no more brehs:young:. I want my shyt to be as good as it do at a restaurant. Whats the best way to cook it to where it has a nice crisp coat to it without losing the tenderness?

5 steps breh:

  • Take the steak out the fridge and bring it to room temperature
  • Lightly brush steak with oil and season with salt/pepper
  • Get pan nice and hot and sear the meat on both sides (3 minutes per side)
  • Place in pre-heated oven to cook until level of doneness is acheived
  • Let steak cool for at least 5 minutes before cutting

If you wanna add additional flavor, you can make a pan sauce:

Ingredients: shallots/onions, garlic, butter, lemon juice, salt/pepper

Using the same pan you made the steak in, add onions/shallots on med high heat until aromatics begin to brown. Add chopped/crushed garlic and stir for a 60 seconds making sure the garlic doesn't burn. Add 1/4 cup lemon juice to deglaze the pan scraping up the fond (bits of browned meat), add 3 tbl spoons of butter 1 tbl spoon at a team until melted. Season with salt/pepper/herbs. Obviously taste for seasoning.

Add some home made mashed potatos and sauteed asparagus and you winning like a mahfukka
First time I made it for my girl she sucked the bone marrow out my dikk that night :whew:

sit the steak out for 30 mins

get a non stick pan and put it on med-high heat

when the pan is screaching hot add a little olive oil to the pan

put steak in for 2 mins on each side for medium rare taste 2.5 for medium and so on.

After its done, put steak in foil for 10 mins to keep juices in tact. After that :eat: and you'll have a restaurant quality steak
That's if you have a restaurant quality cut of steaks. nikkas buying 4.99 steaks and wanting them to taste like they from Longhorn or some shyt.

sprinkle some course salt on both sides and press it into the steak a little. throw it in the broiler for a few, turning over half way. nice crisp outside and still juicy, :banderas: - damn, a brotha bout to hit up the meat market for a nice rib eye.

make sure you're using good quality meat and a nice cut or

Before I became enlightened I was working at a restaurant, and every day for our lunch break, one of us would have to cook lunch for the rest of the crew. One day one of our head chefs made steaks. I asked for mine to be well done and he looked at me like :scust:.

After that situation I have always had my steak medium rare. Mom used to cook our meat well done since not everyone liked seeing pink and it was easier to just cook the meat the same for the whole family, but after trying a medium rare steak :whew:, I now know better.

Youtubed this a few months ago. Easy as hell
Throw cast iron skillet in 500 degree over for 20 mins, get that bytch hot as hell.
Season rib eye only with kosher salt and ground pepper on each side.
Put a little olive oil on the steak and sear each side for about 1 minute.
Throw it back in the oven to cook to your satisfaction.
Done.
