Can't believe people are giving this retard recommendations. Dude shyts all over Hitchcock by saying his entire catalogue is inferior to motherfukking Scream. :stopitslime:

So you just want "slasher/horror based whodunit type flicks? Their's a bunch of scream immitators that came out in the late 90's... Urban Legend, Valentine, I Know What You Did Last Summer, etc... Movies arn't that good IMO...

I'd recommend...

Angel Heart (not a slasher.. but more noir-ish/horror)
April Fools Day
High Tension

And I don't understand that. I need someone to explain that to me. A dope movie is a dope movie, whether it came out 40 years ago or 40 days ago

:yeshrug: just the way shyt is i guess. it's a generalisation of course but i guess it has something to do with kids thinking old stuff is wack but they grow out of it eventually. probably doesn't help that a lot of older movies don't have the flashy special effects that kids generally like or the effects (especially CGI) look very bad these days.

That's bs tho. But I guess its because anyone born in the 80s or early 90s didn't have on demand, so we watched what was on HBO or other movie channels and they played a lot of old flicks

I don't like a lot of old movies and I consider myself a movie buff. So I can understand where dude is coming from. I like the thread but I started seeing some of the movies from 1970 something and 1940 something and I just don't really want to see them. Not saying they can't be good, I just want to see some shyt from the last 20 to 25 years. I probably will check out Murder on the Orient express though just because its a Hercule Poirot movie and I've always wanted to see it.
