Roman is a much better in ring wrestler, he’s had some great matches. He’s had some matches I really remember, he had 1 with AJ Styles that was amazing. Has had dope matches with a nice variety of wrestlers, can’t say Goldberg has been in as many matches I’ve enjoyed. Prime Goldberg was a huge star and had an X Factor but I enjoyed Reigns matches more which makes me pick him.

That being said, Goldberg's push (And to a lesser extent, Strowman's initial push and Batista's Main Event Push) is what Reigns' push should've been. Slow build, wins over credible opponents after showcasing him against enhancement talent that gradually get the fans behind him, THEN Brock.
It's a shame that Cokeboy's determination to show he could make another star poisoned the well so badly that they needed a serious, real life illness to reset everything.

Anyway, Streak and theme/presentation aside ... this should be Roman Reigns in a goddamn landslide.
Poll is also much closer than I thought it would be. Honestly surprised this many people voted for Reigns.

If this was 100% about wrestling, then Will Oceanspray would probably win a tournament like this, but it’s not. Reigns literally ONLY has wrestling on Goldberg, but that’s more of an indictment on the WWE than Reigns himself.

On a serious note, the only thing that Goldberg has over Reigns is a more impactful spear and better booking (during his WCW days). Mishandled as Reigns might be as Vince's Golden Boy, he's a better and more diverse wrestler and honestly a better character too. Don't let forced 'Sufferin Succotash' promo's misguide you on that.
