Portland and Orlando
I don't think Middleton can become a superstar but Giannis and Jabari can
Middleton is the perfect 3rd option though, two way player that can get you 20 with limited touches.
Since ASB
Middleton -
22ppg 5rpg 4apg 3spg
Giannis -
20ppg 10rpg 8apg 2spg 2bpg
Jabari -
22ppg 7rpg 3apg 1spg
That's almost perfect balance between the 3 of them, the path to building that team to a championship contender is clear as day, a shooter / defender at the 1, a defensive big man and a competent bench.
Don't clutter that shyt up with another PG that can't shoot, give the ball to Giannis and have PG that can shoot and create at times but doesn't need the ball because having him play as the standard SF off the ball was retarded.
I like Monroe but they need to trade him. He is a really good player but he just doesn't fit in todays NBA. I'm not sure they can get that much for him but either way, he is clearly not the player they need for this team. Like you said they need a real rim protector and more shooting

I'd love Murray or Valentine. That way you have a thirs guy who can handle the ball to go with middleton and giannis. Kidd can continue his switch everything experiment since Murray is 6'4 200 and Valentine is 6'5 220. I like Henson but what he adds with rim protection and great passing he gives up at a lot of other ways. In particular his lack of strength is disturbing considering he has been in the league for like 4 years now? I have a feeling that Murray will be gone pretty early though and even though I personally love Valentine they will prob not want to draft him at 7-9 (which is where they will prob land)I like Hield, Murray or Dunn for them in the draft, any of those 3 guys and they're cooking with bacon grease. I completely forgot they have Henson on the team since he's hurt, want to see what they look like with him at the 5 with the trio.

If they traded for Cory Joseph and signed someone like Festus Ezeli or Bismack Biyombo should they be feared![]()

If the Knicks were listed you'd have a different tune
Porzingis .....not much else.
I like Murray's game a lot, but like you said he's probably going early since shooting is coveted, only question for him and Valetine would be can they defend the 1? I think Hield and Dunn (especially Dunn) will be better defensively covering 1s, not so sure Murray can do it but we'll see.
Henson is weak, but they have so much length you may be able to get away with him playing there. His numbers when he gets to start at the 5 have always been good, and with Giannis pushing tempo he's quick enough to run with them.

I knew I'd hit my target![]()

How did you exclude Sullinger, Smart and all these brand new dudes who aren't even on the floor like Young, Rosier and Hunter when you mentioned Boston?
