1. Wolves
2. Bucks
3. Pistons

Wolves top the list with Thibs.

I agree with the list. Wolves and Bucks are at the top because have players who could be at the top of the league soon the Pistons don't. I see the Pistons ceiling as maybe where the Raptors are. Good team but lacking that top of the league player to ever contend for a title

A team that could surpass the Pistons next year imo especially if they somehow land a top 3 pick are the Nuggets

A lot of nice young players including a high ceiling one in Mudiay. If they add a Simmons or Ingram that's a hell of a young core

In regards to the Pistons I think Stanley Johnson has a very high ceiling, a lot of their future depends on him since he's their last lottery pick for a while and he's shown a lot of potential, especially with his ability to create.

Thibs is a great assistant coach.

him being a head coach is just going to have his players being injury prone.

Several months later, Milwaukee has the best player, Utah has the best team.

Still think the Wolves have the most upside

And there gonna add another high pick in a loaded draft when it all clicks they'll be a force even it takes a few years

Giannis is the best player by far of all these teams though, the Wolves may have more upside but those kids in Milwaukee seem to work harder IMO. Even though he's not playing all the reports are that Thon is basically living in the gym working on his game, his body is what needs to catch up.

I love Giannis but I see him as more of a jack of all trades player with versatility we've never seen at a player that size but I dont ever see him being good enough scorer in the halfcourt to be the first option on a title team like Towns possibly could

They have the blueprint on how to build around Giannis, shooters at 3 positions 1 of which is a frontcourt player to get the opposing big out the paint. I don't know, with someone like KAT being a pick & roll/pop big you need someone that can get him the ball, while Giannis can just get the board and go.

Yeah and Parker really seems to be entering that next level this year

I think their long term goal is this -

PG - Brogdon/Delly
SG - Middleton
SF - Giannis
PF - Jabari
C - Thon

That would place Giannis on the court with 4 guys that can shoot, and they currently have the 9th best defense in the league without Middleton who is one of the better defensive wings. That's length, shooting, creativity and ability to switch everything since Brogdon is 6'6". The paint would be wide open for Giannis with that kind of lineup, and Jabari would be their attacking weapon in the halfcourt.
