The week before the BET Hip Hop awards aired it was revealed the BET had taken over MTV Jams. Now it seems the VH1 Soul has seen the same fate. For those who watch video networks like myself may have noticed a few months back MTV Jams became BET Jams literally overnight. I've been watching and do enjoy it. Now I wake up to watch VH1 Soul to see its BET Soul. Lol, I know they don't show videos on their network but this is a major set up with the actual network showing decent shows & better award shows (Black & Sexy TV & I'm looking forward to Zoe Ever After) BET is coming for the jugular!!!



Yes, I know in the long run its just a win for the parent company, but I'm glad they are doing this. I haven't watched BET like this since Free & AJ.

Doesn't count since Viacom owns all that shyt and is just putting logos in a hat, taking 2 out at a time and seeing what sticks. Only thing is that they are putting a to of BET logos in there so you always come out with some Frankenstein shyt with a BET logo on it.

Like i said, they have Black & Sexy programming which includes Roomieloverfriends & Hello Cupid. So i hope this is a start of better shows like those, i dont even care that unlike MTV which was a channel catered strictly for music has become a cesspool of bullshyt... BET was never centered for one thing. So i see their slow change, maybe Debra Evil finally is waking up.

The easiest way to marginalize something is to "ghetto-ize" it. Put all of the black shyt together. They all owned by the same Jew anyhow. I'm sure it will be watered down. Vh1soul is one of my favorite channels

BET Jams presents itself differently, i mentioned in the other thread about how they do show the same damn videos, but they have blocks of videos thats of a certain topic or hashtag. VH1 Soul has been the same since i last had comcast, showing a lot of their old Vh1 bumpers & i hadnt had the channels for like 5 years.
