Dudes in here saying Charge it to the game, G-Code and Soulja Rags are better 400 Degreez, no way. There is a reason why 400 did what it did. That album on the production alone ranks over all of those other albums. Give It 2 Em Raw was a great album but it’s not slim’s best, slim’s best years later a few months later. And it wasn’t the best album on no limit In 1998. That goes to C-Murder and Mac. 400 Degreez has the influence too Est-Gee remaking songs and drake. 400 was special. No song from any of those other albums can beat Ride Wit Me.

I’m just a way bigger fan of Mannies beats than BBTP in general and the joints j just listened to from Give It 2 Em Raw. I’ve never even bothered checking that album, was never a big NL fan.

Finally a nikka with common sense. I was around in real time, 400 Degreez was a street bible album. Only Tm101 and DS2 have come close to that level of crushing the streets in the south/midwest since then. Even Kendrick and Nipsey have said that's in their top 5.

400 degreez has earned so much universal acclaim that it's become over-rated somehow - it's a great album and very influential because it took off and was popular nationwide. Let's not undervalue 400 degreez just because it's trendy to love it.

People do overrate 400 degreez. When Ha came out I was in 12th grade and I remember folks was laughing at Juvenile as a joke. It took almost a year for people to play that album.
