@murksiderock Stop it!

LA black diversity is non-existent compared to NYC

Does LA even have ONE non-ADOS neighborhood?

:comeon:

The diverse black cities are all located on the east coast.

LA’s black diversity isn’t even seeing Boston

:gucci:

Ethnic enclaves is mostly a northern thing, hence why you see more segregation in Midwest and Northeast cities compared to the South and West. NY is notoriously segregated, which while that is also present across the nation LA and other California cities are amongst the most integrated communities anywhere...

So it's a pick your poison thing. Northern racism derived from segregation is widely known, for some people, like many transplanted black Californians, they are okay living in integrated communities...

That’s not the reason because NYC is not “notoriously” segregated and the Midwest is not what I’d call diverse at all.

Ethnic enslaves usually form when a group becomes deep enough.

LA has plenty of “ethnic enclaves” but it has none for the black community.

Boston, Philly, DC, Miami, Atlanta all Have much more diverse black populations.

And black diversity is a big factor in finer black women.

Nah g you bugging on the fly part. But o don't limit "flyness" to just dress code, the entire aura of LA sisters is flyer...

Alota you dudes have never spent any time around LA chicks (or dudes), whereas if you live anywhere along the entire Eastern Seaboard, you've been exposed to New Yorkers of both genders. So there's a sharp relative ignorance that cats, particularly NYers, have about LA (as well as the South and other places), whereas the reverse isn't nearly as true...

Alot of people who experienced both will tell you LA has more cultured and flyer black women...

...
i'm basing it on simple things

wardrobe crazy like really i don't know anywhere else on earth so many young black women stay with crazy pieces like straight up brand historians

as far as culture it's based off the fact all the joints can go get educated on whatever with a quick city trip

art galleries music movie screenings whatever you looking for it's in reach

it's what i always say about growing up in nyc nowhere blends the high with the low like here

you literally got joints in the p's with a closet full of archive pieces ha

it's just more numbers & a more opportunities to be exposed to all things fly

not saying the west don't got heat but the math is on nyc side my g

I haven't been to Miami or Philly (other than a pass through), but I lived in Atlanta and DC before and I've been to Boston. Boston women aren't in the conversation no matter how diverse they are. Atlanta women are in the conversation but the entire city is a Love & Hip-Hop caricature that detracts from the sexiness. DC is GOAT-level black women and women in general...

Like I said g, there's truth to both statements. You have to have a tour guide to experience Black LA, because the opposite narrative you're painting that there is no diversity in Black LA is easily identified as false for people who have actually connected with Black LA...

Stop it! I went to LA in 2017 to be exact!

LAs diversity of black women pales in comparison

:russ:

This is not even a debate. Go to an African/Caribbean party or carnival in NY and then go to one in LA and then come back to me saying it’s a comparison

:dead::dead:
what the hell does a carnival have to do with overall Black women.. :mjlol:

let me guess.. all Black women in NYC look like them women.. :russ:

just stop it..

I can dig this articulation...

I will say if LA isn't greater than NY here, it's right below NY, though I don't really look at being brand specific as a quality of being fly. You have that in LA too, but being fly is more about being able to take low budget fits and make them stylish, and LA has that in spades. You'll see scores of black women in LA looking outstanding in clothes that aren't brand specific; if you're looking for the Hollywood stereotype, you'll find that too...

LA is one of the only other few cities you can do all the things you can do in New York. These chicks are cultured bro, the only reason nikkas think otherwise is because a)cats don't go to LA to see Black LA and b)its easier to run with misplaced LA stereotypes than to, in your own words, truly "get educated" on the culture of Black LA...

The problem is people think NY is only made up of Black women who look and sound like Tracy Morgan. NY has the best and most diverse Black women in any city in the country. African, Afro Latina, Mixed. Carribean, Blasian all sizes and shapes. LA women are beautiful no doubt but a lot of the middle upperclass carry some level of artiface and arrogance.

Didn’t say Boston has finer women.

In NYC case I brought up an example of Trinidadian women in NYC who by themselves could give every LA girl a run for their money.

Trinidad is arguably a gold mine of black women and known all over the world as having some of the best looking black women. NYC metro has over 100K of these people alone.

Trinidad carnival is already popular in black culture with black folks traveling there in droves.

This is why a city as diverse as NY in black women should not be slept on.
