true but I am a little concerned about the ratings, they've dropped every season. I wonder if people are eating it up on Netflix tho, I imagine they would be. Cable subs are declining rapidly. We consume television differently than before. I just hope AMC don't get scared and cancel. This is probably supposed to go 5 seasons I'd think. I hope Vince gets to tell the full story.
It's their prestige show that gets the critic acclaim walking dead doesn't. i think they'll hold on
Week-to-week ratings updates nowadays are very rare (due to some networks counting Live+3, some counting Live+7, etc.) but the ratings for 2 weeks ago were 3.4 mill....it was the 7th most watched show in it's time slot with 3 NBA play off games and the NFL draft going on at the same time.
So it's not going anywhere. The Live ratings aren't good but in Live+3 it routinely double or triples it's gains because people watch replays or DVRs.

Only on the Coli is Breaking Bad somehow proof that spinoffs don't work. That's like saying that Jurassic World was proof that people didn't want more dinosaur movies.

It started slow IMO but it's been picking up. I especially liked the last 2 episodes. But I think this show would be better if it was 30 min. It's like they gave Vince an hour and he ain't know what to do with it. Every scene can easily be cut in half. Mike following the stash? You only need to show 2-3 drops at most. Nah, they gotta show this dude driving all over Albuquerque.

Season 4-5 is when Breaking Bad broke out and became big.
It's rating were increasing season after season even before that period along with the interest of the show.
Better Call Saul's ratings on the other hand have plummeted season after season from it's initial season (which was only high due to the Breaking Bad connection).
It hasn't maintained it's ratings or interest.
