life wise I'd say jeter, looks like he got the best game and didn't wife a video hoe. Since baseball players aren't as global as basketball players he can visit other countries in peace without getting hounded
Standing in the sports wise its kobe by far, though jeter's definitely bounced back from all those years in the mid 2000s when every sabermatrics person was shytting on him

Kobe easily. I will take Kobe as an individual basketball player over Jeter as an indivdual baseball player. Beyond that he's had more of an impact on his teams titles, yes including the ones with Shaq. Playing in a top 2 city for the GOAT franchise in their respective sport certainly provided a boost for both but I think Jeter's boost is greater. Kobe, while maybe not to the same extent, would still be viewed as elite and an all-timer an compared to Mike if he played in Charlotte or any other city. Nobody would know who the fukk Jeter was if he played in Kansas City.

Don't know shyt much bout baseball, but I've always had the impression Jeter was more comparable to a Reggie Miller level hooper...but with rings and the face of baseball's top franchise...whereas kobe is in top 5 best ever conversation

sports wise kobe. Nobody would argue that kobe is a top 3-5 laker ever (and the lakers is one of the best franchises in sports)

Both Kobe and Jeter are legends in their respective sports, 5 time champs and first ballot HOF but only one of them is winning outside of what they do for a living...

Most Yankee fans would say top 5 Yankees in order are Ruth, DiMaggio, Mantle, Gehrig and then Jeter. Only guy that you can even argue being in the top 5 over Jeter is Yogi and those cats that will say that are a lot fewer now.
