You don't know nothing about KRS-One. Everything you said exposes that.

Furthermore you think Kanye West has a better catalogue than Nas, that's all that needs to be said...

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
a far more versatile and multi dimensional songwriter, isnt constricted to the parameters of the genre, mic presence and overall music holds more appeal and charisma, better albums and just an overall better artist. Nas is just a better rapper and that's where it ends but I can point you to several aspiring rappers with a soundcloud account who can rap far better than Nas so you dont wanna go there.

Nas is a great rapper but a terrible terrible terrible artist whose albums on close inspection honestly sound like one long song, no versatility, no diversity and no appeal outside of the legacy he built off his debut released two decades ago

I hate you new nikkas :scust:

that's dumb question cuz I like them more than Kanye but every single one of them has better discography than Nas too, but Kanye has superior discography to Nas, just face it, you may like Nas more and I like him more but Kanye has better discography which doesn't mean he's better in any way shape or form it's just that his discography is more consistent.

I'm not hating on anything here, I'm just trying to be reasonable unlike you b.

so unless u count illmatic as three albums he can't beat kanye discography wise, Nas' low points are just too much to for him to compete with Kanye even when u take into account that kanye released weird shyt like Yeezus and 808's

Of course nikkas gonna give Kanye the edge in discography on account of consistency

It's Kanye's 6 solo projects vs Nas' 11 :mjlol: 10 year solo career vs 20 years

The fact is that Nas' best projects pretty much stand over Kanye's best comfortably :ehh:

So Pac, Jay, KRS, Rakim have better discographies than Kanye?

So out of the aforementioned names you think Nas has THE worst discography? You think Jay has a better discography than Nas?.

What's your top 10/20 artists in order?

Nas has Illmatic which is ranked as a classic, Stillmatic which is ranked as a classic (despite what people say it is ranked as 1, with the mic ratings when they were a bit more credible before the source changed). It Was Written that wouldn't be less than a 4. I Am which around a 4 too. Nastradamus might be a 3, as his worst album and a drop off. God's Son a lot of people love and feel it's classic. Same with Distant Relatives. Street's Disciple might be a 3.5. Hip Hop Is Dead probably a 4. Untitled and Life Is Good around the same.

Compared to Kanye where his best album is probably 4 mics, at best 4.5. That doesn't up. Yeezus is widely regarded as trash. Apart from them Hipster type magazines, which you may be a representative of. A lot of people feel like Kanye only has 3 good albums. Kanye himself has done a good marketing campaign to try make other feel otherwise, with the complaining about ratings and the ties to Jay he's a powerful figure. But it's not really a point in debating this because we have such contrasting opinions on the Kanye albums... But a lot of people feel he only has 3 worthwhile albums. But my point is if you actually take the content and quality objectively from the albums you'll see Nas comes way ahead in most if not every category.

On his albums Nas has been more creative, significantly better lyrics, better flow, better content, I don't see how this doesn't count since on the albums. If you like Kanye more fair enough, but your acting like he shyts on Nas' discography when realistically it's the other way around. If you break down Yeezus vs Life Is Good as their last albums the difference in quality is VAST. Nas is indescribably better. It's not close in any way, IF you know what your talking about, and that's the disparity because you don't.

So who else has a better catalogue than Nas? 50 Cent? Gucci Maine? T.I? Wayne? Drake? Vanilla Ice? Are you sure you just don't have something against Nas? Lol. How come all the other legends I mentioned have better discographies than Kanye's but Nas doesn't?

You think my opinion's unreasonable because yours is so ridiculous. Your putting a dude with 808, Yeezus and shyt in their catalogue above Nas who is 1 of the greatest Hip Hop artists of all time. Nas's unreleased discography is superior to what Kanye has released.

that's why this thread is dumb as fukk to begin with, comparisons on this and similar topics are always going to be partially subjective whether we want it or not

nas has better album which can go 1v1 with any of kanyes and beat it, but that's as far as I'd go, Kanye has better discography if you include all of their work, hands down

even tho it's not a fair comparison like u said

The GOAT that said:

Illmatic I was boss
It Was Written I flossed
One of the most creative LPs ever to hit stores
In the Firm I learned I am Nastradamus
QB's Finest, Oochie Wally, faced more problems
I gave it all up so I can chill at home with mama
She was getting old and sick so I stayed beside her
We had the best times, she asked would I make more songs
I told her not till I see her health get more strong
In the middle of that, Jay tried to sneak attack
Assasinate my character, degrade my hood
Cause in order for him to be the Don, Nas had to go
The Gam-B-I-N-O rules I understood
What you want, see, I already had
The Gift and The Curse? fukk that shyt, the first shall be last
I'm the man's man, a rapper's rapper
G-O-D S-O-N, they'll be none after

...last real real nikka alive:wow:

Exactly. I don't even like MBDTF which is considered by many as his best album, I think it's overproduced and ear straining. Graduation is too poppy for my tastes. 808's and Yeezus are weird. CL and LR are good. But they're generally considered as good albums, just like I was saying, I'm just trying to be reasonable here.

On his albums Nas has been more creative, significantly better lyrics, better flow, better content, I don't see how this doesn't count since on the albums.

I agree, and if you put all of his tracks vs all of Kanye tracks Nas would probably win but Kanye knows how to put on album and his albums are always more cohesive and are more ALBUM like. He's just making better songs to fit them together and he never flopped, that's why every person has different favorite Kanye album, to me it's CD, for most it's MBDTF and I'd put that only above 808's and Yeezus on my list. That's the deal. He's not a better rapper but he makes better albums.

dude I don't give a shyt about source ratings, stillmatic ain't no classic, that's just reaching for a straw to prove me wrong, nas has 2 classics.

Are you sure you just don't have something against Nas?

once again, if u actually learn to read with comprehension u'd see that I love Nas as a rapper more than Kanye, the deal is that Kanye just has better discography, it's not such a big deal dude, just accept it, it doesn't even matter.

Nas's unreleased discography is superior to what Kanye has released

:what: :snoop:

I feel like u don't like kanye cuz of his personality and attitude and what he represents. :sadcam:

Ok, at least you answered which I can give you some credit for.

The better question probably would have been then which artists do you feel has better discographies than Kanye?

I see you mentioned Wayne, I think Kanye vs Wayne would be a much better and fairer comparison.

So if you have Nas but not Kanye what are you basing it on? Isn't the music supposed to be the judge?

I'm confused, you don't like all those albums but Kanye has a better catalogue than Nas? Lol. What do you rate each's albums mic wise?

I'm just confused, we're both saying we only really liked TCD and LR but Kanye's is better? I don't get that...

How has he never flopped if you just called his albums weird and said you didn't like them? isn't it supposed to be about quality?

Neither do I, I'm not basing it off source ratings, I feel the album is either classic or very close, you think it's wack?

I've read that countless times, but your words aren't matching with your choices/opinions, highly confusing.

I'm not accepting something I and most believe to be completely false, you can have your opinion but YOU have to accept most people feel Nas' discography is much better...
