As a whole I liked that album too but it was too much at times if you know what I mean
Graduation had some nice beats, think Kanye declined though on that album. "By any jeans necessary?"
MBDTF they might have well thrown that in the trash apart from Devil In A Dress and Power lol.

Yeah, I agree, you hear a huge change in the content from there.
Almost like he made the beats, cool, but then he called the rest of the shyt in. Listening to it now, it's kind of corny. It sounds a bit dated too.
Some tracks I really like though, Can't Tell Me Nothing was dope. Hook and beat though better than the lyrics overall...

Graduation at best probably a 3 mic album. 6 out of 10. It had some joints but was a fall off and disappointment. Arguably a 2.5/5.5 album. It's hard to listen to nowadays... The lyrics are just too bad and it's too corny... They might as well have kept the original Home too lol. Listening back the album is worse than I remembered...

Late Registration was good. Hard listening to this cause I remember what I liked about Kanye and see what a DRAMATIC fall off it was. Hey Mama was a great song, classic even, even though I mainly play the original. But here he had content. I think he started to over produce shyt at times. The extra shyt in Hey Mama was just distracting from the emotion of the song. Even listening to Registration though, a lot of the shyt ain't even that dope but has some standouts. I guess being generous could give LR 4 mics , 7 out of 10. But in all honesty probably have it lower. Maybe 3.5, 6.5 out of 10. If so then Graduation got to be like 2 mics cause that's worse lol.
I don't think it's close Bruh. Stillmatic is slept on. Illmatic undeniable. (Other than that they just alright cds imo.) definitely got classics (songs)...
But kanye makes some ill ass cds Bruh. He can't touch nas pen. But he make some dope ass albums.
