Scarface always gets overlooked when it comes to best catologue. He been dropping quality music for over 30 years. His catalogue is deep solos and group albums (The Geto Boys, The Product).

Pac, Nas and then Jay IMO.

half the people in Coli thinks Thug Life better than Illmatic and Pac's Life is debatable with Reasonable Doubt.

THUGLIFE Vol 1 is better than illmatic though...

I'll rank these niccaz albums in order of greatness

1. Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory
2. Me Against the World
3. Reasonable Doubt
4. All Eyez on Me
5. Blueprint
6. American Gangster
7. R U Still Down
8. It Was Written
9. The Black Album
10. Still I Rise
11. THUGLIFE Vol 1
12. Volume 1
13. Volume 3
14. Better Dayz
15. 2Pacalypse Now
16. Strictly 4 My NICCAZ
17. Volume 2
18. Until the End of Time (woulda been much better with the OG's)
19. Stillmatic
20. Dynasty
21. Blueprint 2
22. Kingdom Come
23. Blueprint III
24. Pac's Son

all the rest of them naS albums and Loyal 2 the Game/Pac's Life tied for last... I cant be bothered with the semantics of dealing with why HHID is worse than NICCER the sambo album.

Pac, classic song in every type of Hip Hop song, subject matter wise.

Where's Nas struggles to make a club record and Jay struggles to make conscious songs.

1)Pac
2)Nas
3)Jay

nas shyts on both of them.

Nas - H to the OMO (Jay-Z Freestyle Diss) - YouTube

destroys the entire roc fam at 1:10 and rides this beat to perfection.

i wish pac wouldn't have died so we could have seen him and nas go back and forth.

Pac and Nas squashed there beef after they ran into each other after the 96 MTV awards....

Even Reasonable Doubt?

Not even that...

Jay just brings good singles to the table...His albums don't play out well...

Nas is the same...

Nas and Jay albums are too "mix-and-match" for me...I like albums to have a consistent musical theme...

If you are going to use trackmaster beats, use trackmaster beats or similar style beats from start to finish..I hate albums with "something for everybody" sounds...

To me it means, the artist wants me to listen to what I like, and dump the rest...and that's what happens with Jay Z and Nas albums...

Nas a better 1 2 punch than those other 2 nikkaz

The Coli dikkrides Pac so he gonna win the poll regardless.

Other than a few scattered east coast centric nikkaz, and racist white folks, the whole world dikk rides Pac.

Nas is dope as fukk and Jay is a great rapper/ phenomenally marketed commercial success, but in terms of prestige, and Iconic stature, Pac is dwarfing them nikkaz. You could combine Nas and Jay together to form a rap Voltron and Pac would still tower above them.

I don't even know why people include Pac in discussions like this. It's like putting other Rasta nikkaz up against Bob Marley.Pac's music had a spiritual vibe to it.Even though people remember "Thug Life, the level of humanity, and connectivity in Pac's music was astounding. Not many artist make it to that level.

It's about the love and the heart of the music.....That's why it can't be manufactured. It has to be genuine.

Jay's a witty wordsmith(2nd only to BIG IMO) and Nas is the highly intelligent observer, but in terms of originality, I guarantee we're more likely to see 2 3 4 more Nas and Jay's than we our to see another Pac

Reasonable Doubt and American Gangster arent mix and match, but i get what youre saying. I didnt like Vol 3 at first because of that. But then I went back and Hov was spittin

"...I abuse beats, better call BCW/I made my mother move/so Id have no problem comin round the old way sluggin you/thats what a thug'll do..." :whoo:

It really just depends on who you're a fan of. It's that easy.

If you fukk with Nas, you'll probably think that his mediocre and garbage albums are dope. That's what fans do. They justify wackness, for the artists they like.

I think Pac and Jay have much better catalogues. They both had very consistent runs. The thing with Pac is, dude's got so much music, you can not listen to anyone else for the rest of your life, and still have Pac joints you haven't even heard yet.
