I was into Goldberg's streak in 1998 but I never really got why a guy who was so dominant had bodyguards escorting him to the ring. It's like the Juggernaut..he would never need to be apart of a villain group. He can just kick everyone's ass solo...including cosmic characters that got out of line.

Goldberg's entrance is overrated as fukk.

Batista's Entrance >>>>>>>>>>> Goldberg

Edge's entrance is better than every other one mentioned in this thread though.

Goldberg's entrance gives you that "big fight feel". Only entrance that ALWAYS looks like the main event is happening. Automatic feeling of "Some shyt. is about. to go down. NOW."

:childplease: Are we only saying this because he has the "boxing" entrance with the camera backstage following him to the ring

Taker by miles especially when he switches it up each big event :lawd:

Yes Edge's entrance is better. I'm not even a huge fan of dude, but his Music gets people hype and makes everything sound like a big deal. He comes out to al l that crazy pyro.
Taker's entrance still gets a bigger pop and so did Goldberg.

Alter Bridge has been carrying Edge's career for years.

Getting a bigger pop doesn't mean it's a better entrance, just means the guys coming out are bigger stars. Austin and Rock get bigger pops than both of them dudes and their entrances are pretty fukking bland most of the time.

I think it was Kevin Sullivan who explained the reasoning was the security was to protect people from Goldberg, not Goldberg from people. like he was this bad dude who was also dangerous.

that "boxer entrance" did help make entrances feel big time. The WWF did it for awhile in the late 90s for the main events, always made the match feel like a big deal.
