The sped up beats. hey both can be done well and I admit a lot of it is probably just my age but Freddie Gibbs is really the only dude I enjoy rapping over trap beats.

The sped up beats can still be creative but certain cats ran it into the ground heavy by speeding them up WAAAY too fast and just looping them without really being creative at all.

People think Blueprint was this sped up soul sample album but it's really not. Most of the vocal samples aren't sped up at all. U Don't Know and Girls Girls Girls Remix are really the only ones. Girls Girls Girls, Takeover, Heart of the City, Never Change, Song Cry...they're all about their actual speed.
