Why is that? Would you say because of the games or what. Elaborate fam, would like to hear your perspective.
I just think its impact is undeniable. They’re everywhere. It resurrected the Nintendo brand as a whole after being in its deathbed.

They also put out some of the top games over this and last generation with gameplay mechanics that offset the law of raw power.

The psp was a novelty for PlayStation owners.

The switch is the entire platform and the switch 2 has been one of the most anticipated devices.

Do you think Sony could have survived with just a psp handheld?

I prefer psp. Shoot I prefer Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advanced over Nintendo switch, if we're talking pure handhelds.
Man, I got fond memories of the DS :wow:. Being able to play with a touch screen as a bottom screen. Easily my favorite Nintendo innovating moment.

Like with handhelds like the DS line, you can just put that in your pocket and take it out. With the Switch, you have to get a travel case, so to me, it never truly feels portable, if that makes sense.

Lmao how? I never understand vita fans maybe I'll look through that systems catalog and play some of the games.

Are you an RPG head or something? Vita literally only had 150 games made for it. Sony gave up on it real quick
Indie developers supported it long after the system was abandoned. For awhile it was the best way to play a ton of very popular indie games.

(im)patiently waiting for Sony or MS to drop a new handheld with decent graphics. Tired of Nintendo’s strategy…shyt just isn’t for me.

Whoever moves first is getting my money.

Good point though Red Dead Redemption is solid on switch most of their third party titles aren't it. Hades and Cuphead they say are great for switch as well if that's your cup of tea no pun intended.

First party stuff like Mario Kart 8, Luigi Mansion 3, Super Mario Odyssey, and Super Mario Wonder are their best.

Edit also their Zelda titles.

fukk nah but not why you might think. The fact people could jailbreak the PSP is what made it awesome for consumers, but also what hurt it as a system in the long run. People were able to pirate the fukk out of the PSP and essentially obtain all the games they wanted for free.

I like the DS as well and had a hack cartridge for mine but always felt PSP> DS

Remember talking to this one chick I liked on Pictochat at summer camp :mjlol: good days.
Vita had the psp library and a very strong indie library long after sony abandoned it.

Sony fukked up not supporting it.
Yeah, read it also had an OLED screen back then which wasn't as good as it was today but I see why people enjoyed it.
The switch.
Mods remove OPs thread making privileges please and thank you.
Lol if you don't like the thread you don't have to come in here. The Poll is kinda close which suprised me because Switch is way more high tech than the PSP.

the psp easy. ridge racer and darkstalkers chronicles had me in a vice. on top of that, you could watch movies on it and use it as an mp3 player. i dont know if the switch supports the two latter functions and once came out more than a decade later
