But....

He's sayin the simplest sh1t

The reason you remember his verses is because he uses very few words and he is a good song composer...

If a 8 year old listened to N1ggas In Paris 5 times they can quote his verse....But take the same kid and have him listen to Apollo Kids and it might take his brain 50 listens to recite it...

The brain stores and recalls pattern recognition combinatorial codes... Ye's patterns are more elementary and less complex...So of course they stick in your mind...

"What she order? Fish filet? That sh1t cray, that sh1t cray"

"MJ gone!! Our n1gga dead"

"Got a light skinned friend look like Michael Jackson, got a dark skinned friend look like Michael Jackson"

"Trina, Jennifer Lopez, four kids
An I gotta take all they bad ass to show-biz"

My 4 your old niece could parrot this using the mental capacity she memorizes her Dr. Suess books....

Dude is an excellent pop artist but a below average emcee...

But I can say the same about Pac tho :yeshrug:

Pac wasnt a lyricist..even less of a lyricist than Ye but he got by by his delivery and voice

So what are sayin?:dwillhuh:

This was really a hard one cause they are such different MC's.
Kanye has more powerful lyrics, great ass charisma, strong delivery, creative lyrics while he's not technical at all. While game is an all-round mc. Kanye is in his best form

Kanye West isn't a good rapper....The fact that he has convinced a generation of people that he is shows how fall the culture has fallen...

Skill wise Game is better but he doesn't know how to make good songs and his subject matter is sometimes laughable...

If you could match Game's skill with Kanye's song making ability you might have a complete emcee...

Fukk both these half azz n!ggas...
The fact that he convinced legends like Nas, Rakim, Dj Premier, Rza all the way down to young dudes :deadrose:. You've got to consider the fact that you might be the one with a problem, not the other way around. Unless your hubris is :lawd:.

And really kids can rhyme and understand all Eminem lyrics and he's as technical and lyrical as Ghost. Just that he speaks a language everyone knows. Ghost deciphers his shyt like bible. So thats a bad comparison. Everyone and their mom can understand Pac, the goat even the vatican have him in their playlist :takedat:. Sometimes well thought simplicity is just as good as well thought complexity.

How would me not thinking someone is a good emcee be problematic? It's just an opinion lol....Nas and Premier like a lot of stuff that I think is garbage...They signed Group Home and Bravehearts...WTF does that have to do with anything?

That last paragraph you typed is incoherant jibberish

You claimed that culture had a problem cause Kanye is considered a good rapper. And I named some of the most respected people who claim that he's a good (even great) rapper to make you consider that you might be the one that has fallen and not the culture :manny:.

And how is it gibberish? What the fukk is gibberish about it?
You know you posted something stupid, you claimed ghost was so much better cause it takes time and effort to understand him. But someone just as technical and lyrical like Em they understand perfectly on the first listen. And someone less technical than them both who is better than both Pac has crystal clear lyrics.

Your hating game has fallen the fukk off, you used to cover it with "big words" even latin at times, hedge your opinions against counter arguments and on. Now you're flat out just saying stupid shyt :dwillhuh:

If your point is that Pac is not as lyrical as Ghostface then I agree... But that's a red herring...

At the end of the day Pac and Ghost are both far better than Kanye imo...

KRS One said Wayne is the best rapper alive...

Pippen said Lebron is better than Jordan....

Who the hell cares breh? Think for yourself....

I don't care if my pops and the Ghost of Marcus Garvey comes back and says Kanye is the greatest emcee of all time.....I'll tell them that the bar has been lowered and I strongly disagree...

The rest of your post is typical ad hominem...

Kanye gets major play on the radio, Game does not. How you really think this poll is going to go?

But make no mistake, Game is one of the preeminent MCs of this generation. He's like a tadpole caught out of water. He's personally conflicted with his immense talent and desire to be accepted commercially where true MCs are looked upon as corny and swagger-less.

Not to mention Game has dissed a lot of rappers which has isolated him from being openly appreciated by numerous fanbases.

It is what it is... but Game will be remembered for a long time. And the longer time goes on, the more he will get his props.

Another example of the bar being lowered...

How many great albums does Game have? How many universally classic songs? How many mind blowing, innovative and quotable lines?

Skill wise Game is better than Kanye but the man cannot consistently compose great songs.. He seems like he still in constant writers block and his cop out is to name drop... He's a slight step above a mix tape rapper...If it wasn't for the Dre cosign and the need for the West to have a ressurection nobody would think more of him than they do of Lloyd Banks (who arguably makes better songs)

You make this post about thinkin for yourself and what not
but previously u said this

.

When you make a statement such as that you're making one with a more objective nature.

You said if people believe that Ye is a good rapper..that means the culture has fallen off

Harry B brings up many respected figures of the culture sayin Ye is one of the best

Then u switch up and say..its all mere preference...dude stop it breh:childplease:

One has nothing to do with the other....

The culture has fallen imo....The bar has been lowered... And artists that I might have respect for may disagree with me on who the culprits of the downfall are...

I didn't realize I had to explain that EVERYTHING we talk about on here is mere preference... I thought that goes without saying :snoop:

Which is why I end the majority of my statements with "imo"

Which is why I end the majority of my statements with "imo"

"The fact people believe(subjective) that kanye is a good rapper shows how much the culture has fallen off(objective)

You say the bar has been lowered(ur makin an objective statement)

The nature of the statements you're making are spoken as fact

When Harry says

Maybe you're the one with the misconstrued vision on the art
Maybe you're the one thats seeing things and judging things unclearly

Thats when u switch it around and say "oh its just mere opinion...the culture rlly hasnt fallen off, the bar rlly hasnt been made lower..its just our mere opinion on whos good and who isnt"

Im paraphrasing btw
