No I get that breh. But if Nigeria had the equivalent of Hakeem in soccer that guy would be thought of more highly because soccer is more popular.
Hakeem is a Nigerian breh, THAT'S the point.

if you havent been watching I aint doing the research for you. Bron played the 4 for big minutes the last 3 years with the Heat and last year through the playoffsIt's not fairly close.
Which bigs was Lebron guarding?
Like specifically?
He's impactful if you come to the paint but he ain't out there locking down guards fam he's great proctecting the paint and playing helpside
@ the agenda the OP got.
Like Lebron wouldn't be able to win in 94....95 he wouldn't be able to possibly since he's not a Center and be able to guard Shaq, but it's not like anyone on the Magic would be able to guard him.
Hakeem is better defensively, but Lebron is a top 3 passer at the very least and he is able to get buckets at will.![]()
where does this myth that lebron is a top five alltime passer come from? stockton, magic, and nash were all better passers than lebron and i can name others. shyt, jason williams was a better passer than lebron. his passing is probably his most overrated aspect.
an elite defender that is a big is more valuable than a guy that can 'defend 1-4' or whatever ya'll are calling lebron.

He was talking about centersif you havent been watching I aint doing the research for you. Bron played the 4 for big minutes the last 3 years with the Heat and last year through the playoffs
Based on the history of basketballBecause Lebron is easily in the same class as the top 3 and much better than Williams.
Lebron has elite vision, creativity, touch, strength, and the strength. to fire a myriad of passes from a variety of positions and angles right into a shooter's pocket...in rhythm.
No one who knows anything about basketball would say Jason Williams is a better passer than Lebron based off a couple of highlight passes.
But Lebron can create plays and passes from the post, perimeter, in transition, in the PnR, and he can do it in a variety of offensive sets or while controlling the offense.
Based off what? Rim protection is great but Lebron's disruptive ability, size, athleticism, and vision allow him to anchor a defense even as a primarily perimeter defender. I think Hakeem is probably more impactful but the difference isn't that big because Lebron's versatility allows him to morph into whatever his team needs him to be.
Blasphemer.

when they went small battier was getting the lions share of minutes against any competent post player. every time bron matched up against david west in the post he got absolutely torched. he's strong enough to battle for position obviously, but hes toast once someone with comparable size catches the ball on him in the post.if you havent been watching I aint doing the research for you. I got LBJ ranked 2nd to
And I wouldn't say LBJ is a better defender than Hakeem. Hakeem was a super versatile defensive big for his day. And even if LBJ is more versatile defensively overall, Hakeem was better at rim protection and anchoring his defense Better than LBJ was in terms of versatility. All of LBJ's title teams have had an all-defensive player playing alongside of him. He's never been asked to be the sole defensive stalwart on his team. Whether it was playing with Battier/Wade/Bosh.
Buuuuut, on the flip side his defensive versatility made those lineups work for those heat teams.
