Better singers: Men or women?

For me I guess I will say it depends. I think women might be better singers when solo, but male groups are definitely better than female groups. Therre aren't many female groups I can even suffer hearing, and that includes 90's groups. If we're talking 60's and 70's R&B/Soul though, they're pretty much even.
