"Made You Look" was like "Got Ur Self A..." on steroids. Which is crazy because "Got Ur Self A..." is already hard enough as it is.

Made you look was like the nail in the coffin for me. The hook, lyrics the video all very simple and basic for what he had just gone through.
But you mix all that shyt together, the little QUOTE at the beginning of the vid. It was like the ultimate victory lap. All doubt was removed.

This isn't really even close, lol. "Got Yourself" was underrated tho, joint is tough. "Made You Look" is a hip hop classic.
Funny thing about "Got Yourself", Nas laid the verses either acapella or to a completely different beat, can't remember, and the producer came and made the beat to/around Nas's vocals. I remember reading that shyt in a magazine back then, crazy.
