rap beef by definition plays out like a wrestling match already. This was no different.
It literally followed the old-school heel/face matches to the letter. nothing surprising except they pulled off an Austin-Bret double-turn mid-batle.
Otherwise, this whole shyt played exactly like a title match circa 1981.

Drake started this shyt coming off like the babyface champion there to put down another attempted usurper. But by the end Kendrick was the people's champ and was posing with the belt while his music played and Drake was quietly shuffled off TV and straight into hiatus with only a quick post-match promo sounding defeated to herald the end of his reign and the beginning of someone else's

He gon need to take some time away, maybe retool. Learn a new hold flow. Depending on how it shakes out, might even be time for a fresh character direction. Probably midcard run R&B album to wash the taste out of people's mouths. Possibly call Sexxy Red for a intergender tag team joint album.
