To break it down even more it’s the sheer complexity of his dance moves that make him better. Bey got hella stamina that is amazing but none of her actual moves look like anything that complex. Mike had the stamina and the complexity of dance moves and footwork that is stuff it doesn’t look like the average human can do without injuring themselves hence why Beyonce’s dancers can keep up with her and Mike’s back up dancers usually stayed in their place.

Add into that how he was still going hard even with health problems that Bey couldn’t even imagine or dream up the pain of having, his ability to communicate with the audience when not even singing actual words, and while he did have back up dancers and some fancy shyt here and there HE was always the spectacle of his shows. People didn’t go to see a Michael Jackson Show they went to see Michael Jackson.

I think it says alot that the consensus best dancing duo in the world (Les Twins) got pretty much everything they do from him.
